This year, the choice fell on Thailand, where the celebrity clan resided in a luxury villa right on the beach – with whirlpools in the bedroom, marble bathrooms, and an outdoor pool overlooking the sea. When the Kardashians, one of Hollywood’s wealthiest families, go on vacation, it has to be something extraordinary. After almost the entire entourage, including nieces and nephews, vacationed on the Greek island of Mykonos in 2013. This year, the extended family sought more exotic climes. So, they headed to Southeast Asia, more precisely, to the island of Phuket in Thailand.
Why the Kardashians chose this destination may have something to do with the extremely luxurious accommodation opened just weeks ago. According to a report in the British Daily Mail, members of the Kardashian clan were some of the first guests to reside in the newly built Iniala Beach House directly on Natai Beach. All in all, a total of five villas are available to guests at the vast property. Each is designed and furnished by a different designer.
A spokesperson for the resort confirmed the stay at TRAVELBOOK’s request. “The Kardashian family had private and exclusive use of the Iniala Beach House and had the entire property at their sole disposal,” the spokesperson said. The family stayed for a week. That’s almost 150,000 dollars for all the villas and the penthouse together.

“Iniala is not just a place to relax”
Mark Weingard, the founder of Iniala Beach House, says in an interview with the luxury travel portal “The Luxury Travel Bible”: “Iniala is not just a place to relax on the beach in Phuket. It is also a temple of international design, art, and gastronomy.” Certainly, anyone looking at the pictures of the villas and outdoor areas will know what he means. In the bedrooms, whirlpools are embedded on the floor, and the bathrooms are richly decorated with marble and gold. In addition, guests can relax on four-poster beds by the infinity pool in the outdoor area.
Of course, cameras were present almost the entire time the Kardashians were on vacation to film new scenes for the legendary TV reality soap “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” The family has been sharing their lives with the public on the TV series for seven years now.
And, of course, Kim Kardashian, as is her wont, once again shared her vacation impressions with the whole world via Twitter, Instagram, and co. Among other things, she poses in the infinity pool of the beach villa, on a yacht, and – unusually chastely – in a white dress in front of a Buddhist temple.
