Sardinia is a piece of the Caribbean in the Mediterranean. More than 1800 kilometers of coastline invite you to sail, surf, and dive – but hikers and climbers can also let off steam here.
One of the best tips for Sardinia is to head straight to the most beautiful of the 168 beaches, Cala Goloritzé. This one can be reached after a several-hour walk down the steep coast. The international jet set meets in Porto Cervo on the Costa Smeralda. If you are looking for a rural idyll, head to the pastoral villages on the edge of the Valle dei Nuraghi.
